Motorcycle license plate frames can make excellent impression

This is Part 3 of my series associated with modifications for the Yamaha FZ6 bike.motorcycle license framesIn Part 2 in the series I discussed some modifications associated with grips, levers, and rearsets. Some discover that they cannot see in it very well with the standard mirrors. Personally, I find that the stock mirrors do just what I need them to do. Additionally, changing mirrors may well change the overall look of the bike. Some simply don't like the way the original mirrors look. Options include mirrors that mount in the same place, but have different finishes and shapes, and mirrors that mount on the bar ends and get different shapes, sizes, and finishes.

* Switch Signals - The turn signals that have the Yamaha FZ6 are large and orange. This is to make sure that they meet all state and local laws associated with proper turn signal installation, color, etc. Some people just don't find these lights appealing and want to replace them with something a tad bit more sporty and inconspicuous. Associate programs to after-market turn signs are aesthetic and protection related. The aesthetic value is obvious, and that safety benefits are dubious. Many of the turn signals available for the Yamaha FZ6 will mount flush over the front, and similarly relating to the back and are considerably smaller. Some simply have a different shape and/or lens color. My personal view is that smaller equipment and lighting, even though they may be brighter, are not necessarily better. I'd rather have other motorists be able to see the lights and also tell where I'm intending to go as easily as they can. It is also worth noting there are replacement tail lights available which include functionality to show directional signs. This would negate your need for any additional turn signal whatsoever.

Thanks for checking out Part 3 of my series about Yamaha FZ6 Modifications to take into consideration. In the fourth and final post about this series I'll be commenting on:

* Brake lines

* Brake pads

* Shape Sliders

* Air filter

Clean your motorcycle. This allows you to double check all key areas to verify nothing is loose (which will be relevant in step 10.) In addition, it makes it easier to check on the motorcycle at technical inspection (your day of the event.)

Take away your center stand. This is certainly for safety on this track. Almost all agencies require center stand removing. This is especially true for the more advanced (and for that reason faster) groups. Some organizations and tracks may request you to also remove your kickstand (aspect stand.)

Take away or tape up ones mirrors. Sometimes removal is not really an option, since it may be the only way ones fairing is supported. In that case, tape up the mirrors so that if they contact the ground, the glass does not fall out to the track surface.

Tape up your headlight(s)and signals. This comes with the tail light and license plate light. If you can, remove the fuse for any headlight. With the headlight off of, it reduces that potential for tape residue sticking for a headlight. Make sure to position the fuse back in before riding in the street again.

Check all of your current controls, meaning clutch cord, throttle cable, brake lever, clutch system lever, rear brake lever, together with kill switch for proper operation.
